We've thought about this and Crypt and I have decided that magic will be allowed on this site. But only these few abilities. The rules on magic are: THEY ARE CONTEST GIVEAWAYS, PRIZES, GENETIC, AND SPECIAL EVENTS. You may not join with a magical ability, NO MATTER WHAT. You may buy blessings and curses, but YOU MAY NOT BUY MAGIC.
This is a list of the types of magic currently available.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Natural forces that cannot be detected by science at present, and in fact may not be detectable at all. These magical forces are said to exist in addition to and alongside the four fundamental forces of nature: gravity, electromagnetism, the nuclear strong force and nuclear weak force.
Intervention of spirits similar to these hypothetical natural forces, but with their own consciousness and intelligence. Believers in spirits will often describe a whole cosmos of beings of many different kinds, sometimes organized into a hierarchy.
A mystical power, such as mana or numen, that exists in all things. Sometimes this power is contained in a magical object, such as a ring, a stone, charm, or dehk, which the magician can manipulate.
Manipulation of the Elements by using the will of the magician and/or with symbols or objects representative of the element(s). Western practitioners typically use the Classical elements of Earth, Air, Water, and Fire.
Manipulation of Energy. Also believed to be the manipulation of energy from the human body. Most commonly referred to by the usage of the hands while the mouth uses a command of power.
Manipulation of symbols. Adherents of magical thinking believe that symbols can be used for more than representation: they can magically take on a physical quality of the phenomenon or object that they represent. By manipulating symbols (as well as sigils), one is said to be able to manipulate the reality that this symbol represents.
The principles of sympathetic magic of Sir James George Frazer, explicated in his The Golden Bough (third edition, 1911-1915). These principles include the "law of similarity" and the "law of contact" or "contagion." These are systematized versions of the manipulation of symbols. Frazer defined them this way:
Creating Thunderbolts Wolves with this power have the ability to attack other wolves using thunderbolts. It is a good strategy, and usually recognizable because the wolf holding this power will have a thunderbolt scar somewhere on his body.
Controlling weather These wolves can control the type of weather only for a short amount of time if they need to. They may also use this power in battle, creating hailstorms or whirlwinds.
Conrolling Ice Wolves with this power can send icicles at their opponent with a shake of their coat. They can also create snow and freeze things by looking at them.
Mind reading These wolves can tell if you're lying or not by gazing into your eyes. They can also know your next move, and are very hard to battle.
Inflicting pain on opponent With a simple motion these wolves can send their opponents into any state of pain they wish. They can manipulate body moments to create more of a mess, and have the ability to break limbs at whim.
Control opponent by mind These wolves cannot inflict damage on an opponent but can control their movements by only thinking about it. This is useful when a wolf wants to go somewhere forbidden but risks breaking rules.
The ability to read people's names above their heads A name will appear above a wolves head when another wolf has this power. They can also tell the age, sex and life span of the inflicted oppoent.
The ability to kill by only thinking of the persons mind If a certain wolf is bothering someone, they can simply close their eyes and imagine them. When they open their eyes, the wolf will be dead.
The ability to control one's soul These wolves can change someone's personality if they wish by biting their neck. When the wound is created, that soul will belong to the bearer when the opponent has died.
