Amarth Hills. One of the most prestigious schools around. The teachers are more than accredited to do their work, and no one hears of any troubles that happen within the school itself. On the outside, Amarth Hills is your typical boarding school: Built in the middle of nowhere, barely aging walls, and teachers with degrees and a discipline system, what others know about, that other institutions would absolutely die for.
However. What they don't know is that the discipline system is harsher than anyone would ever want their child to experience. Teachers, in detentions, are allowed to do whatever they like to students in order to have them 'learn their lesson'. The principal avidly endorses this particular policy. Students have gone public with this before, but no one seems to want to listen.
Amarth Hills, despite its name, is a good school, with good teachers, they say. Many of the police officers are in on it. None of the students have power.
All they have is fear. And one goal: Survive. All they can do is get through the school year without going insane. All they can do is wait for the teachers to be through with them before going back to as best of a normal life as possible. For those about to leave, there is envy. For those about to enter, there is pity.
But there is also hope.
Somebody just has to find it. Will it be you?
Oh - and don't be late to class.
